About the role

We are seeking an experienced and talented Head Chef to join our vibrant team at Loliltas Cantina Mexican located in Kuta Selatan, Bali. As Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. This is a contract-based position that offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise in Mexican cuisine and lead a dynamic kitchen team.

What youll be doing

1. Develop and implement innovative menus that showcase authentic Mexican flavours and dishes

2. Manage and mentor a team of skilled line cooks, providing guidance and training to ensure exceptional food preparation and service

3. Maintain strict quality control measures to ensure consistency and food safety

4. Collaborate with the management team to optimize kitchen operations, inventory, and cost controls

5. Foster a positive and collaborative working environment in the kitchen

6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and continuously improve culinary techniques and offerings

What were looking for

1. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role, preferably in a Mexican or Latin American restaurant

2. Proven expertise in Mexican cuisine, including traditional and contemporary cooking methods

3. Excellent culinary skills, with the ability to create visually appealing and flavourful dishes

4. Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a demonstrated track record of developing and motivating kitchen staff

5. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene

6. Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
