Health and Safety Officer

Key Responsibilities :

1. Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures within the company

2. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with national regulations (e.g., K3 standards) and company standards.

3. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with root cause analysis and corrective actions.

4. Promote HSE awareness among employees through training, briefings, and toolbox meetings.

5. Maintain and update HSE documentation, including risk assessments, safety data sheets (SDS), and permits.

6. Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure timely reporting of statutory HSE requirements.

7. Support the development and implementation of Emergency Response Plans (ERP) .

8. Ensure the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe operation of equipment.

9. Work closely with site supervisors and management to foster a zero-incident culture.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in logistic and transport industry

• Familiarity with Indonesian HSE regulations (e.g., Permenaker, UU No. 1 Tahun 1970, ISO 45001, SMK3).

• HSE certification is a must (AK3 Umum, ISO 9001/18001/14001/45001/2800, NEBOSH, or equivalent).

• Emergency Response Plans Training certification (ERP)

• Strong communication, investigation, and documentation skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HSE reporting systems.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willing to travel or be assigned at project sites within Jakarta and surrounding areas.
