Position Overview

Housekeeping Staff are essential in ensuring that the facility remains clean, sanitized, and impeccably presented to reflect the luxury standards of the gym and wellness gym. This role supports the overall member experience by maintaining cleanliness, safety, and order in all public and operational areas. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, works efficiently, and takes pride in creating a pristine and welcoming environment for members and guests.

Primary Duties

1. Cleaning & Maintenance

• Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting across all gym and wellness areas.

• Ensure all locker rooms, restrooms, and showers are consistently clean, well-stocked, and free of unpleasant odors.

• Sanitize fitness equipment, high-touch surfaces, mirrors, and common areas regularly throughout the day.

• Support laundry operations by collecting, sorting, and restocking towels and linens.

2. Presentation & Organization

• Keep towels, amenities, and gym essentials neatly arranged and fully stocked in assigned areas.

• Quickly respond to spills, stains, or accidents to maintain a spotless environment.

• Assist in maintaining a visually appealing atmosphere aligned with the brands high-end aesthetic.

3. Member Experience

• Respond to member or guest requests related to cleanliness and housekeeping with professionalism and urgency.

• Maintain a courteous, discreet, and service-oriented demeanor at all times.

• Report any maintenance or equipment issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor or relevant department.

4. Health & Safety

• Comply with all hygiene, safety, and sanitation protocols, including the proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.

• Proactively identify and report safety hazards such as wet floors, broken tiles, or malfunctioning facilities.

• Support hygiene standards in accordance with luxury wellness industry expectations.

3. To comply with local legislation and be conversant and act in accordance with any such matters relating to your department.

4. Respond to any changes in the department as dictated by the needs of the industry, company.

5. To be flexible and extend job duties to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the job capability as assigned, including redeployment to alternative departments/areas if required, to meet business demands and guest service needs.

6. Attend training and meetings as/when required.

7. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
