International Food Chef
Under the supervision of Executive Chef, Sous Chef is responsible to help facilitate the unforgettable experience for guests.
Job Description:
Taking care of daily food preparation and duties assigned by the superiors to meet the standard and the quality set by the Outlet.
Being able to estimate the daily production needs and checking the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.
Ensuring that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times.
Ensuring highest levels of guest satisfaction, quality, operating and food costs on an ongoing basis.
Having full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production and presentation standards.
Having excellent knowledge of menu creation, maintaining quality and controlling costs in a volume food business.
Ensure sanitation, hygiene and HACCP standards in all kitchen areas.
Assume Executive Chef duties upon request.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years experience as a Sous Chef
Food Handling Certification preferred
Good at spoken and written English
Able to use Microsoft Office System, for reporting and documentation.
Willing to stay on site (resort) when working and flexible working hours
Discipline, diligent and subject to the demands of the business
Able to thrive in challenging work environment
