We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Specialist to manage and support our enterprise OpenShift clusters. You will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and security of the infrastructure. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in OpenShift operations and is ready to support critical requests, even outside office hours when required.

• Configure, manage, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift Clusters

• Prepare infrastructure images for OpenShift upgrades

• Create and manage image pull secrets and manifest files

• Set up repository nodes for OpenShift image mirroring

• Maintain and troubleshoot etcd backup scripts to ensure daily success

• Provision and manage OpenShift projects/namespaces based on application team requests

• Assign and manage rolebindings per namespace and role requirements

• Configure resource quotas and limit ranges across namespaces

• Perform DR (Disaster Recovery) flip across all cluster nodes

• Renew and upgrade self-signed Kubernetes certificates annually

• Create secrets for Kafka SG certificate integration

• Configure cluster log forwarding for specific namespaces to support Grafana log visibility

• Create user-defined namespaces and additional service accounts (SAs) as needed

• Monitor cluster operators and machine configurations for health and compliance

• Provision persistent volumes (PVs) and persistent volume claims (PVCs)

• Add and integrate new worker nodes into the OpenShift cluster

• Perform ongoing cluster monitoring to ensure node readiness and health

• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in OpenShift

• Manage OpenShift version upgrades to align with platform lifecycle

• 2-4 years of experience managing IT infrastructure or OpenShift environments

• Strong knowledge of OpenShift Container Platform, Kubernetes, Linux, and Docker

• Experience with certificates, secrets, and cluster-level configurations

• Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, etc.

• Experience in scripting (Bash, Python, or similar) is a plus

• Good understanding of infrastructure automation and version control tools

• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills

• Willingness to support critical requests (CR) after hours or during weekends

• Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration or equivalent

• Experience with Kafka, cluster logging, and OpenShift Operator lifecycle

• Exposure to CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
