Manager Merchandise Snack & Biscuit

As a Manager Merchandise Snack & Biscuit, you will play a crucial role in the companys buying and merchandising strategy for the snack and biscuit product categories. Based in Jakarta, this full-time position will see you working closely with the wider Retail & Consumer Products team to drive the commercial performance of these key product lines.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the buying and merchandising strategy for the snack and biscuit categories

• Liaise with suppliers to negotiate favourable terms, secure the best products and manage all commercial agreements

• Analyse sales data and consumer trends to identify opportunities for growth and innovation

• Plan and execute effective promotional campaigns to drive customer engagement and sales

• Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance the in-store and online shopping experience

• Provide regular reporting and insights to senior stakeholders

• Manage a team of buyers and merchandisers, providing leadership, coaching and development

Requirement:

• Bachelor Degree

• Experienced minimal 5 years as a Buyer Dry Food from hypermarket class retail industry.

• Shown “Can do Attitude”, good interpersonal skill, analytical thinking, result oriented, composure under pressure and has business insight.

• Negotiation skill and ability to build effective communication skill to maintain working relations with agencies, suppliers and vendors.

• Ability to work under diverse and simultaneous demands in Retail environment.

• Proficiency in English - both in verbal and written.

• Placement: Head Office Ciracas, Jakarta Timur.
