Medical Rehabilitation Coordinator

Job Description
  • (Leadership) Coordinate all operational activities of Medical Rehabilitation, including administrative supervision and availability of resources, resources (workers, technology, drugs, equipment, etc.) as well as quality and safety improvement programs, to maintain policies, service standards and operational procedures that has been determined by management. (Leadership) Plan and monitor the procurement, replacement and maintenance of space, medical technology, equipment, medicines, human resources and other resources needed and to ensure consistency and continuity of services, (Leadership) Provide guidance and carry out development personal and professional, including orientation regarding safety procedures and practices as well as conducting performance evaluations to ensure employee competency in accordance with applicable provisions, laws and regulations as well as hospital needs, (Leadership) Monitoring the implementation of hospital wide measurement programs and improvement priorities selected by home leadership ill to ensure the standards of the programs are achieved and maintained.
  • (Operational) Following a briefing before a scheduled patient appointment to obtain information regarding previous operational conditions, (Operational) Checking the function and cleanliness of equipment at the start of each shift to ensure all equipment used complies with standards, (Operational) Receive patients using established service standards determined by the Hospital to ensure the consistency of services received by patients, (Operational) Carrying out an assessment regarding the condition and complaints of discomfort experienced by the patient in determining a diagnosis to plan the program and actions that will be given to the patient and selecting physiotherapy modalities, (Operational) Carrying out an analysis of integrated information from patient assessment data to determine the suitability of the physiotherapy program programmed by the doctor with the assessment results, (Operational) Explaining the procedure to be given, the length of time, and the effect of the action to the patient to ensure that the patient receives complete initial education, (Operational) Carrying out a physiotherapy program in accordance with established procedures until completion to ensure the patients comfort and safety during the procedure, (Operational) Educating the patient and family/companions after the procedure regarding home care and scheduling the next session to ensure the continuity of the patients healing process , (Operational) Carry out complete documentation of patient files before, during and after the procedure as evaluation material to improve subsequent medical rehabilitation services, (Operational) Collect required data and/or make reports related to operational activities as accountability to superiors, (Operational) Carrying out procedures and practices for quality and safety services, including attending training, collecting data, documenting and/or making reports needed to support the achievement of hospital wide indicators and related department/unit targets.
Qualifications
  • Diploma (D3) Degree from Physioterapist
  • Have minimum 3 years work experience as Physiotherapist
  • In-depth knowledge of rehabilitation practices, techniques, and therapies.
  • Excellent organizational skills for managing patient care plans, documentation, and departmental operations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to effectively supervise staff and coordinate services.
