Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and Implementing Sales Strategies:

    This includes identifying new business opportunities, creating promotional materials, and negotiating contracts. 

  • Building Relationships:

    The manager cultivates relationships with travel agents, corporate clients, and other potential partners to secure bookings and generate leads. 

  • Maximizing Revenue:

    A primary focus is on maximizing revenue across all revenue-generating outlets, including rooms, events, and food and beverage. 

  • Overseeing Marketing Activities:

    This involves managing the hotels brand, developing marketing plans, and coordinating promotional campaigns. 

  • Monitoring Performance:

    The manager tracks sales and marketing performance, analyzes data, and makes adjustments to strategies as needed. 

  • Team Leadership:

    The manager provides guidance and support to the sales and marketing team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment. 

Essential Skills:

  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

    Effective communication is crucial for interacting with clients and motivating the team. 

  • Sales and Marketing Expertise:

    A strong understanding of sales principles, marketing strategies, and the hospitality industry is essential.
