Plastic Moulding Technician

About the role

PT sumbermasplast is seeking a skilled Plastic Moulding Technician to join our dynamic team in Gresik, East Java. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the efficient and high-quality production of plastic components using state-of-the-art moulding equipment.

What youll be doing

• Operating and maintaining injection moulding machines to manufacture plastic parts to precise specifications
• Troubleshooting and resolving any issues with the moulding equipment to ensure continuous production
• Performing quality checks on finished products and ensuring they meet the required standards
• Collaborating with the production team to optimise processes and identify areas for improvement
• Maintaining detailed production records and reporting on key metrics
• Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the workplace

What were looking for

• Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Plastic Moulding Technician or in a similar role
• Proficient in operating and maintaining injection moulding machines and associated equipment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve production issues
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional departments
• Good written and verbal communication skills
