Production Manager (IVD Medical Devices)

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated Production Manager (IVD Medical Devices) to oversee and optimize production operations in our medical device manufacturing facility. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate across departments to ensure efficiency, compliance, and product quality.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and ensure the achievement of production targets in terms of quality, quantity, and efficiency.

• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to streamline production processes for both existing and new products.

• Manage supplier negotiations for raw material procurement, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality standards.

• Identify and resolve production issues promptly, implementing corrective and preventive measures.

• Ensure optimal functionality and maintenance of production equipment and machinery.

• Monitor and enforce compliance with CPAKB (Good Manufacturing Practices for Medical Devices) and other relevant industry standards.

• Conduct training and mentorship programs for production staff to improve skills and efficiency.

• Prepare, manage, and maintain production documentation to meet regulatory and company requirements.

• Generate and present production reports to senior management, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a Bachelors degree in one of the following fields: Pharmacy , Biomedical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Electromedical Engineering. A Masters degree is a plus.

• Fluent in both English and Indonesian (spoken and written). Additional language skills are an advantage.

• Minimum 3 year of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing. Experience in quality assurance or production management is preferred.

• Strong understanding of CPAKB (Good Manufacturing Practices for Medical Devices). Familiarity with ISO 13485 is a plus.

• Proven ability to negotiate and manage relationships with domestic and international suppliers.

• Technical expertise in operating and maintaining production equipment to ensure compliance with safety and efficiency standards.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and proactively, taking initiative to improve production processes.

• Strong analytical and reporting skills to support data-driven decision-making.

• Willing to be based in Central Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, with the flexibility to travel domestically and internationally for supplier visits or audits as needed.
