Property Agent

Role Summary:

A Property Scouting Agent identifies and evaluates potential real estate properties for clients, whether for investment, development, or commercial purposes. The agent works to source properties that meet specific criteria and negotiates favorable terms for acquisition or leasing. Their goal is to help clients find optimal real estate opportunities aligned with their business or personal needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate potential villas, apartments, and properties for short- and long-term rental opportunities through market research and networking.
• Initiate contact with property owners, educate them on property management services, and negotiate service agreements.
• Monitor rental trends, pricing, and competitor offerings to provide valuable insights and identify emerging opportunities.
• Conduct property inspections to assess rental potential and suitability for Betterplaces management services.
• Gather and verify property documents, and ensure smooth onboarding with internal teams for new properties.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelors Degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field (preferred, but not mandatory).
• Relevant certifications, such as a Real Estate License, may be required

Experience:

• Proven experience in property scouting, sales, or development with a deep understanding of market trends and property values.
• Demonstrated success in negotiating real estate deals, ideally in residential, commercial, or industrial sectors.
• Strong ability to analyze local real estate markets, understanding both macro and micro factors that impact property value and potential investment returns.

Skills:

• Ability to conduct thorough market research, analyze data, and assess property values effectively.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, developers, and property owners.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.
