Purchasing Manager

About the role

Join PT. CANTINA MEXICANA BALI as our Purchasing Manager on a full-time basis in Canggu, Badung, Bali. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for managing all purchasing and procurement activities to support the companys manufacturing, transportation and logistics operations within the purchasing, procurement and inventory management domain.

What youll be doing

• Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies to ensure a reliable supply of materials, goods and services at the best possible prices

• Negotiate favourable contracts with suppliers and vendors to optimise costs and quality

• Oversee the procurement process from requisition to payment, ensuring timely delivery of purchased items

• Manage inventory levels and collaborate with operational teams to forecast future purchasing needs

• Identify opportunities to streamline purchasing processes and implement continuous improvements

• Monitor supplier performance and quality, and take corrective actions as needed

• Provide reporting and analysis to senior management on purchasing activities and budgets

What were looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement management role, preferably within the manufacturing, transportation or logistics industries

• Strong negotiation and contract management skills with proven track record of securing favourable supplier agreements

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to optimise inventory levels and costs

• Proficiency in using procurement and ERP software to streamline processes

• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field
