Project manager

Palm LeyLines, a leading real estate development company specializing in luxury properties in Uluwatu, Bali, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to oversee our upcoming projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a strong understanding of construction processes, and exceptional communication abilities in English and Bahasa Indonesia. Proven track record in overseeing villa and apartment construction from start to finish. This includes structure, Architecture, MEP and FF&E install. Will need to do daily site visits to inspect progress and drive program. Must be able to speak English

Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Coordination: Lead the planning and execution of various construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Team Management: Supervise and motivate project teams including contractors, subcontractors, architects, and engineers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage project budgets, track expenses, and optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and profitability.
• Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality control measures to guarantee that all construction work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and obstacles throughout the project lifecycle, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address issues to minimize disruptions.
• Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction with deliverables.
• Compliance and Permitting: Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and permits, securing necessary approvals and certifications as required.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and other relevant records, and prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field.
• Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in project management within the construction or real estate industry, preferably with luxury property developments.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (both written and verbal) is essential.
• Prior experience working in Bali or Southeast Asia is a plus.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is desirable but not required.
• Able to read construction drawings
• Able to produce a Constuction program
• Must be able to speak English
