The Opportunity

PT. DOMPET AMAN INDONESIA is seeking a talented Quality Assurance professional to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge digital products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute manual testing for web applications (functional, regression, UI, exploratory).

• Understand and apply the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

• Collaborate with developers to review requirements and identify potential risks or test cases.

• Perform basic API testing using tools like Postman and validate JSON responses.

• Log and track defects using tools such as Jira or equivalent.

• Document test cases, test results, and issue reports in tools such as TestRail or spreadsheets.

• Support the QA team in implementing QA best practices and standards.

• Learn and adapt to automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Katalon) as needed.

• Participate in team discussions and Agile/Scrum ceremonies when applicable.

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate the functionality, usability and performance of our web and mobile applications

• Identify and document software defects, tracking them through to resolution

• Collaborate closely with development teams to provide feedback and recommendations for improving product quality

• Automate testing processes to improve efficiency and coverage

• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies, tools and technologies

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our quality assurance processes

What Were Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality assurance or software testing role, preferably within the information and communication technology industry

• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies and tools, PHP Programming (Laravel or Codelgniter)

• Proficiency in manual and automated testing techniques, including experience with frameworks like Selenium and Appium

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically

• Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

• Familiarity with agile development practices and experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
