About the Role

Were looking for a talented React Native Developer to take over and optimize the mobile app development of a social-business lifestyle app built with modern React Native technologies. You will be responsible for fixing ongoing iOS build and dependency issues, improving app performance, maintaining Firebase integrations, and helping us ship scalable features.

✅ Your Core Responsibilities

• Fix and manage iOS-specific build issues, especially around Pods, architecture exclusions, and modular header compatibility (e.g., non-modular-include-in-framework-module).
• Debug and resolve CocoaPods and native module conflicts (gRPC, abseil, leveldb-library, PromisesObjC, etc.).
• Maintain and improve integration with Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Messaging, etc.).
• Ensure compatibility with Apple Silicon (M1/M2), Xcode 16.3+, and latest iOS SDKs.
• Collaborate with backend and UI teams to implement features, fix bugs, and release updates.
• Write clean, maintainable code using TypeScript (if applicable).
• Optimize the build pipeline for both Android and iOS.

✅ Tech Stack & Requirements

• React Native (0.73+)
• Xcode 16.3 & iOS Simulator (iPhone 16 Pro compatibility)
• CocoaPods, knowledge of architecture exclusion and EXCLUDED_ARCHS
• Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Messaging, Storage, etc.)
• Native iOS development knowledge (RCTAppDelegate, .mm files, header search paths)
• Deep experience working with Pods: gRPC, abseil, leveldb, PromisesObjC, and handling pod conflicts
• Familiar with Metro bundler, Watchman, and dependency cleanup tools
• Comfortable debugging build logs, linking errors, and Apple Silicon-related build issues
• Git / GitHub and CI tools (bonus)

✅ Bonus Skills

• Experience publishing apps to App Store
• Familiarity with App Clips, Universal Links, and Associated Domains
• Experience with multilingual apps (especially Japanese-English support)
• Previous work on apps with high-performance requirements and custom backend APIs
