Retail Business Development

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and driven Business Development professional to join our team in the furniture industry. This role is crucial in expanding market reach, building client relationships, and driving sales growth through strategic partnerships and project acquisitions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in both B2B and B2C segments (e.g., interior projects, hotels, offices, retail, etc.).

  • Build and maintain relationships with architects, interior designers, developers, and distributors.

  • Manage the entire sales process from lead generation, pitching, quoting, negotiation, to closing deals.

  • Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure product alignment with client requirements.

  • Conduct market research to understand trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.

  • Present and promote furniture products (custom and standard) with a solution-oriented approach.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, Architecture, Interior Design, or related fields.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the furniture, interior, or construction industry.

  • A strong network within developers, architects, interior designers, or contractors is highly preferred.

  • Knowledge of furniture materials and production processes is a plus.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Results-oriented and able to meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
