About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Sale Consultant to drive new business development and expand our client base in the stone, sand, and mining sectors across Balikpapan Kota and East Kalimantan. This full-time role requires a results-oriented professional with a proven track record in mining-related sales, aiming to build client relationships, execute sales strategies, and contribute to team growth.
What Youll Be DoingStrategic Business DevelopmentIdentify and pursue new sales opportunities in construction, infrastructure, and related industries, focusing on stone, sand, and mining material needs.
Analyze local market trends (e.g., construction project pipelines, material demand) to target high-potential clients in East Kalimantan.
Build and maintain partnerships with contractors, developers, mining firms, and government entities to understand their material requirements (e.g., aggregate specifications, volume needs, delivery schedules).
Address client challenges such as supply chain efficiency, cost optimization, or compliance with mining regulations.
Prepare and deliver technical sales presentations highlighting product advantages (e.g., quality of stone/sand aggregates, mining site accessibility, delivery capabilities).
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure new business, aligning with company objectives.
Coordinate with operations teams to ensure timely material sourcing, production, and logistics (e.g., delivery from mining sites to client locations).
Liaise with technical teams to resolve client queries on product specifications or industry standards (e.g., ASTM, local building codes).
Track individual sales metrics (e.g., leads generated, conversion rates, revenue achieved) and report progress to the Sales Manager.
Identify areas for improvement in sales approaches and implement feedback to enhance performance.
Industry Experience: 3+ years of proven sales experience in stone, sand, mining, construction materials, or related sectors, with a history of closing B2B deals in East Kalimantan.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with mining operations, aggregate product types (e.g., crushed stone, river sand), and basic understanding of Indonesian mining regulations (e.g., permits, environmental requirements).
Communication Skills: Strong ability to present technical information, negotiate effectively, and build rapport with clients at all levels.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze client needs and market data to inform sales strategies.
Tools & Systems: Basic experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage leads and track progress.
Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; willingness to travel within East Kalimantan as needed.
