General Requirements:

1.     Graduate of any Bachelor/College Degree in transportation management is preferable

2.     With at least 5 years working experience in freight forwarding

3.     Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia

4.     Work experience in Korean logistics and forwarding company is an advantage

5.     Adept at problem-solving, highly-organized and keen on details

6.     Effective reporting and communication skills; both speaking and writing

7.     The ideal candidate will have a strong command of reporting using Microsoft Office and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

8.     Provide guidance and support to junior staff within the export-import team. 

Job Description:

1.     Manage and oversee all sea and air freight operations (export & import).

2.     Ensure timely coordination of shipments, carrier bookings, and delivery schedules

3.     Supervise documentation processes: BL, AWB, customs clearance, invoices, and permits

4.     Liaise with customs, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and airlines

5.     Optimize shipping routes and reduce costs while maintaining service quality

6.     Implement and update SOPs in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices

7.     Monitor vendor performance and negotiate service agreements

8.     Lead and mentor the logistics team; assign tasks, review KPIs, and manage performance

9.     Resolve shipment delays, customs issues, and complaints efficiently

10.  Ensure compliance with international shipping laws, safety, and security standards

11.  Collaborate with finance and procurement for cost control and budgeting

12.  Prepare and present logistics performance reports to management
