Role Description GER Indonesia is urgently hiring a passionate and creative Social Media Executive to join our Jakarta-based team. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and managing impactful social media content that reflects our humanitarian mission. The ideal candidate has a deep passion for social causes, strong storytelling skills, and hands-on experience in managing social media platforms. You will collaborate closely with the fundraising and program teams to ensure consistent messaging, increase engagement, and strengthen our digital presence across platforms.

QualificationsGeneral Requirements:

• Non-smoker

• Fluent in English (spoken and written)

• Under 35 years old

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

• Previous experience in a nonprofit or social impact organization is highly desirable

Specific Requirements:

• Strong passion for nonprofit causes (e.g., education, environment, poverty alleviation)

• Proven ability to communicate mission and values in an authentic, compelling way

• Excellent writing skills, especially for donor stories, volunteer spotlights, and impact updates

• Proficient in visual design tools such as Canva or Adobe Express

• Experience managing social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok)

• Able to schedule posts, monitor analytics, and engage with followers promptly

• Familiarity with nonprofit digital tools (e.g., Facebook Fundraisers, YouTube for Nonprofits)
