Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

🔍 Job Opening: SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)📍 Location: On-site Jakarta🕒 Experience: 5+ Years💼 Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a highly skilled SDET with at least 5 years of experience in software testing and automation. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Katalon Studio, Selenium, and JMeter or equivalent performance testing tools. Youll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing, implementing, and executing automated tests across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement robust automated test scripts using Katalon and Selenium.

2. Conduct performance and load testing using JMeter or similar tools.

3. Develop and maintain CI/CD test automation pipelines.

4. Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to define test strategies and scenarios.

5. Investigate test failures, perform root cause analysis, and drive defect resolution.

6. Continuously improve test automation frameworks and best practices.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 5 years of experience as an SDET or Automation Test Engineer.

2. Strong hands-on experience with Katalon Studio, Selenium WebDriver, and JMeter (or similar tools like LoadRunner, Gatling, etc.).

3. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Java, Groovy, Python).

4. Experience with API testing, REST/SOAP services.

5. Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.

6. Solid understanding of software QA methodologies and test processes.

7. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

   Nice to Have:

   1. Experience with BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber).

   2. Knowledge of cloud testing platforms and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

   3. ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
