Tax Officer

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field.

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Tax Specialist, Tax Staff, or Tax Consultant.

• Strong understanding of Indonesian tax laws and regulations, including Corporate Income Tax, VAT, withholding taxes, and international tax aspects.

• Proven experience in tax compliance, tax planning, and handling tax audits.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with tax software is a plus.

• Possession of Indonesian Brevet A and B certifications is highly preferred

Job Description:

• Oversee the preparation and timely submission of all Indonesian tax filings, including Corporate Income Tax, Value-Added Tax (VAT), withholding taxes, and other applicable taxes.

• Manage inquiries, audits, and assessments from the Indonesian Tax Authorities, including negotiating settlements and resolving disputes when necessary.

• Stay current with changes in Indonesian tax laws and regulations, and implement necessary updates to ensure compliance.

• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation of all tax-related records.

• Reconcile submitted tax returns with accounting reports to ensure consistency and accuracy.

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal finance and accounting teams, as well as external tax advisors.

• Demonstrate expertise in Coretax, e-SPT, and e-Faktur platforms.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, legal, accounting, and operations teams to ensure tax implications are considered in key business decisions.
