Technical Support (Engineer)

PT Sigma Kreasi Instrument (SKIns) is a company specializing in Procurement, Engineering Services, and Training-Consulting for the oil and gas industry. We are ISO 9001:2015 certified and currently looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as:

Position: Technical Support Engineer

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Production or Conversion)

• Minimum 2 years of experience in:

  • Rotating maintenance

  • Compressors and control panels

  • Electrical and instrumentation for rotating equipment

• Solid knowledge of:

  • Rotating and static equipment (Gas Engine, Diesel Engine)

  • Ignition systems, sequencing, overhaul/rebuild, diagnostics and repairs

  • Valves, control valves, pressure/temperature gauges, regulators, instrumentation, and transducers

• Familiar with:

  • Mechanical theory and practices

  • Pneumatic and hydraulic systems and their controls

  • Reading and interpreting P&ID, isometrics, piping diagrams, flowcharts, and technical specs

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus

• Understanding of codes & standards: ASME, ANSI, API, ASTM

• Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia

• Able to work independently or as part of a team

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM), including terms & conditions for each product application

• Ensure product specifications match candidate machine requirements in coordination with supervisors and manufacturers (if needed)

• Schedule and conduct site visits to ensure equipment is functioning properly, in coordination with the Marketing team

• Support principals programs related to quality improvement and after-sales service

• Develop and maintain SOPs to standardize project documentation

• Maintain updated contact lists of clients and stakeholders for ongoing and past projects
