Accounting Officer (Mandarin Speaker)

About the role:

Our client is seeking an Accounting Officer to support their finance operations in Morowali, Central Sulawesi. The role will handle daily accounting tasks, financial reporting, and ensure compliance with company policies. The position will work closely with, and report directly to, Chinese expatriate management.

Job description:

• Perform general accounting tasks including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.

• Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.

• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and local regulations.

• Act as a communication bridge with Chinese expatriate management.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting.

• Proficiency in Mandarin (HSK 5-6) is mandatory.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and reporting standards.

• Willing to relocate to Morowali, Central Sulawesi (roster system).

• Good communication, detail-oriented, and able to work under tight deadlines.
