We are looking for a bright-minded individual to join us as we expand our team to develop the Berikut. generation of talents. As an A&R, you will be responsible for all activities related to our music releases from talent scouting, artist development, production and launch strategies.

What You Will Do

  • Identify and evaluate industry trends, emerging talents, songs, composers, producers, and collaboration opportunities.
  • Develop and manage relationships with artists, managers, composers, arrangers, producers, production houses, and other music industry professionals.
  • Support artist development initiatives, song selection, creative discussions, and artist Posisiing strategies for current and upcoming talents.
  • Support songwriting workshops and creative development sessions by contributing references, ideas, feedback, and creative input.
  • Coordinate recording sessions, workshops, production schedules, project timelines, and material delivery.
  • Review demos, song materials, lyrics, vocal takes, and recording progress, then provide reports and feedback to the A&R team.
  • Maintain A&R databases, release pipelines, project trackers, reports, budgets and project documentation.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Creative, Legal, Operations, Artist Management, Distribution, and other related teams to support release planning and execution.
  • Represent the label at relevant industry events, showcases, meetings, and talent scouting activities.

What You Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Music, Communication, Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory for candidates with relevant experience.
  • Deep understanding of popular culture, genres, audience behavior, and trends within the Indonesian and global music industry.
  • Familiarity with digital music platforms, audience research, social media, and current digital media trends.
  • Strong ability to identify artist potential based on musical ability, image, personality, audience fit, work ethic, and commercial potential.
  • Experience or familiarity with music production, recording processes, songwriting workshops, artist development, artist management, or music industry operations.
  • Strong network of industry professionals including artists, composers, arrangers, producers, managers, and other key music industry stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, coordination, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • 1–3 years of experience in music, entertainment, artist management, recording studios, content creation, or related industries preferred.

Nice To Have

• Experience in songwriting, lyric writing, melody development, arranging, or music production.

• Familiarity with music publishing, royalties, music rights, and distribution processes.

• Familiarity with music analytics and reporting platforms.

• Experience creating artist development plans, talent scouting reports, creative briefs, or pitch decks.
