Senior Tax Associates - Consultant

PT AMS Konsultan Indonesia is looking for a Senior Tax Consultant to join our growing team.

As a Senior Tax Consultant, you will be responsible for handling tax compliance, tax advisory, and tax review assignments for various clients. You will work closely with managers, supervisors, and team members to ensure that clients’ tax obligations are properly managed, reported, and aligned with the applicable tax regulations.

This role is suitable for candidates who have solid tax knowledge, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple client deadlines with accuracy and professionalism.

Responsibilities
  • Handle monthly and annual tax compliance for corporate clients, including preparation and review of tax calculations and tax returns.
  • Prepare and review tax reports such as WHT, VAT, CIT, and other relevant tax obligations.
  • Assist in preparing corporate income tax returns and fiscal reconciliation.
  • Review clients’ tax transactions and identify potential tax risks or exposures.
  • Provide tax advice and support to clients based on applicable Indonesian tax regulations.
  • Assist in tax audit, tax objection, tax appeal, or tax correspondence with the tax office, when required.
  • Communicate with clients regarding tax data, supporting documents, deadlines, and follow-up matters.
  • Supervise and guide junior team members in preparing tax working papers and tax reports.
  • Ensure all tax deliverables are completed accurately and within the agreed deadline.
  • Support internal team coordination and contribute to improving tax work processes.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Taxation, Fiscal Administration, or Finance.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in tax, preferably in a tax consulting firm or accounting firm.
  • Strong understanding of Indonesian tax regulations, including VAT, WHT, CIT, and tax compliance procedures.
  • Having Brevet A & B certification is preferred.
  • Experience in handling corporate clients from various industries will be an advantage.
  • Able to prepare tax working papers, tax reports, and fiscal reconciliation independently.
  • Familiar with DJP Online, e-Faktur, e-Bupot, and other tax reporting systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work with deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and able to coordinate with clients and internal teams.
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • English proficiency will be an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in tax review, tax audit assistance, or tax advisory projects.
  • Experience in supervising junior tax staff.
  • Familiarity with accounting records and financial statements.
  • Experience working in a consulting environment with multiple clients.
