About the role

We are seeking an Automation Engineer to join our team at PT YKK Zipper Indonesia. As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining automated systems and processes to improve efficiency and productivity within our manufacturing operations. This is a full-time role based in Depok, West Java.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement automation solutions to streamline manufacturing processes
• Design and program control systems, including PLC, SCADA and robotic systems
• Troubleshoot and maintain existing automation systems to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and process improvements
• Provide technical support and training to operators and maintenance personnel
• Stay up-to-date with the latest automation technologies and best practices
• Ensure all automation projects comply with relevant safety and quality standards

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related technical field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Automation Engineer in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in PLC programming (e.g. Siemens, Mitsubishi, Keyence and Allen‑Bradley) and SCADA system design
• Hands‑on experience with robotics and motion control systems
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control principles
• Familiar with Industry 4.0 technologies and automation trends
