Compensation and Benefits Specialist

Job Descriptions: 

  1. Responsible to update the compensation & benefit database as a source for payroll according to employees offering letter, internal memo, and other documents related to the changes affecting employees compensation & benefit eligibility; making sure the documents already completed approval process.
  2. Process and provide the time attendance data complete with amount of routine compensation & benefit components and adhoc components and safeguarding the reports accuracy and updated timely resulted from payroll service providers for both Indonesia and Singapore based employees.
  3. Responsible for administering the registration and membership update of BPJS (Ketenagakerjaan & kesehatan), health insurance, pension fund, and any other benefit components when applicable, for employees and dependants, according to the local policy.
  4. Main person in charge on the payroll deduction and earning components and in coordination with payroll service providers; including the income tax calculation and yearly income tax report for employees side (1721 A1), in collaboration with Tax department and appointed tax consultant.
  5. Supporting the annual medical check up by scheduling and monitoring the status for Jakarta HO & Western employees.
  6. Provide clear and correct explanation of process, policy, and informations related to compensation and benefit towards employees question and queries, including providing an annual memo ensuring all components are correct according to employees eligibility.
  7. Provide accurate calculation of final payment whenever applicable, of cases related to employee turnover: whether its voluntary resignation, termination/dismissal, end contract, and retirement, according to the local labor law.
  8. Support the job analysis and job evaluation process in relation to the standardization of grades and benefits relate to it.
  9. Responsible as the main data source for annual actuarial report, remuneration survey, annual salary review process and to take charge on other projects as assigned by the RHRM as deemed fit and proper according to expertise and knowledge related to the position.

Requirements: 

Educational background :

  • Minimum Bachelor degree with min GPA of 3.00

Experience :

  • Min. 5 years in the same field
  • Experience in a multinational company for its overall compensation & benefit process with more than 100 employees.
  • Preferably possess professional or competency certification related to Compensation & Benefit or Total Rewards.

Technical Knowledge & Skill :

  • Familiar with Compensation & Benefit concept and best/common local practices
  • In-depth knowledge about BPJS and income tax calculation & process
  • In-depth knowledge of local labor law, especially those related to the Compensation & Benefit.
  • MS Excel
  • Familiar in operating web-based payroll system
