We are currently assisting a multinational manufacturing Perusahaan in identifying a Flavorist to support flavor development and innovation within a production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine flavor formulations to meet targeted taste and aroma profiles
• Manage and safeguard formulation data, ensuring consistency and confidentiality
• Conduct sensory evaluations to assess flavor performance and ensure alignment with product standards
• Collaborate with production teams to maintain flavor stability and consistency during manufacturing processes
• Provide technical input during production, including mixing parameters and process adjustments
• Support product development initiatives, including trials, validation, and scale-up activities
• Evaluate raw materials to ensure quality, suitability, and compliance with production requirements
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Production, Laboratory, Quality) to resolve formulation and process challenges
• Maintain accurate documentation of formulations, test results, and technical data for traceability
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to flavor and product performance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, or related field
• Proven experience in flavor formulation, product development, or manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of flavor systems, ingredient interactions, and sensory evaluation
• Experience supporting production scale-up and troubleshooting formulation-related challenges
• Familiarity with laboratory testing, product trials, and validation processes
• Knowledge of quality standards and raw material control within a manufacturing setup
• Fluent in English
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Willing to be placed at Surabaya, East Java
