Chief Accountant - Hotel

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chief Accountant to join our team in managing the financial operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, excellent analytical skills, and proven experience in hospitality accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.

• Manage and ensure timely payroll submission, including compliance with statutory requirements.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.

• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to support hotel operations and management decision-making.

• Ensure compliance with internal policies, audit requirements, and local tax regulations.

• Lead, mentor, and supervise the accounting team to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

• Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.

• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and payroll processes.

• Proficiency in accounting software ( hotel accounting systems) and MS Excel.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
