HRBP Assistant Manager - Jakarta - WFO

A well-established company in the agrochemical industry is looking for an experienced and driven HR Business Partner (Assistant Manager level) to manage the full scope of HR and office administration in Indonesia. This is an individual contributor role reporting directly to the regional office.

Key ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources (60%)
  • Strategic HR PartneringWork closely with the commercial and business teams to align HR initiatives with company goals. Actively support organizational changes including structure, people, and processes.

  • Recruitment & Employer BrandingLead the full-cycle hiring process and build a strong candidate pipeline. Enhance employer branding to attract top talent across functions.

  • Compensation & BenefitsOversee compensation programs such as payroll, incentive schemes, and employee benefits. Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of local C&B processes.

  • Performance ManagementFacilitate the annual performance cycle and provide guidance on employee performance challenges and disciplinary cases.

  • Talent DevelopmentSupport the identification of high-potential employees and coordinate learning programs, talent reviews, and succession planning activities.

  • Employee Engagement & CommunicationInitiate employee activities that foster engagement and teamwork. Maintain open communication channels and promote a positive work environment.

  • Policy & ComplianceEnsure local HR policies align with Indonesias labor regulations and regional standards. Take part in local and regional HR-related initiatives as required.

Office Administration (40%)
  • Manage day-to-day administrative operations such as office supplies, facility upkeep, and vendor coordination.

  • Support logistics, including travel arrangements and visit management for overseas team members.

Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 7 years of HR experience, preferably supporting commercial or sales teams.

  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws and HR practices.

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Able to work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Willing to travel domestically as required.
