Our client is a leading multinational coal mining Perusahaan primarily involved in coal mining operations in Kalimantan Utara.

About the role: 

This Posisi is responsible to improving operational support infrastructure for mining (mining roads, bridges, water channels, jetty, building construction and other operational support facilities for mining). Including all aspects of planning, designing, and constructing or repairing a building or infrastructure project to ensure that structures and systems are assembled correctly.

Responsibilities:

1. Able to evaluate and analyze the operational activity planning of the Civil Department, in accordance with the Perusahaan's targets and plans.
2. Ensure the assigned work accordance with all the compliance requirements (e.g. basic design, Perusahaan HSE and quality standards, contract procedures, project standards (quality, cost and schedule) as well as existing codes and specifications
3. Analyze plans, survey reports, maps, and other data related to project design.
4. Analyze the results of tests on soil and building materials to determine strength for foundations and other support.
5. Prepare cost estimates for equipment, materials, and labor to determine a projects economic feasibility.
6. Manage the construction or repair, maintenance, and replacement of buildings and infrastructure.
   oversee the building of structures or systems throughout a projects construction, and help with signoff and other postconstruction activities. 
7. Ensure that work complies with safety regulations and adheres to design specifications, helping to resolve problems that may arise.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor Degree (S1) Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years experience with advance knowledge in Civil and/or Structural Engineering within Coal and Mineral mining.
• Willing to work under 9:2 roaster setting.
• Excellent working knowledge of structural design and construction requirements.
• Capable of demonstrating analytical thinking, fit-on-purpose/practical judgment and risk assessment.
• Capable of performing quality assurance processes, coordinate working team, work with peers, and communicate with others.
• Capable to implement basic application level of structural engineer work which included: site & design basis development, preliminary facilities (topsides) & structural design, foundations materials, structural design, buildings, structural calculation, structural inspection, report writing, construction & consideration, subsea (bottom mounted) facilities, operations & repairs.
• Familiar with civil work software such as AutoCAD or others
• Have experience of infrastructure project in mining Perusahaan is a plus.
