About the role

Krakatau Poschem Dong-Suh Chemical is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician for a contract position based in Cilegon, Banten. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of the companys mechanical systems and equipment.

What youll be doing

• Conduct regular inspections, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment such as pumps, compressors, valves, and pipework

• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning mechanical systems, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks, including component replacements, alignments, and calibrations

• Collaborate with the engineering team to implement improvements and upgrades to mechanical systems

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance

• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

What were looking for

• Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician or in a similar role within the chemical or manufacturing industry

• Maximum ages 30 Years

• Male gender

• Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques

• Proficient in the use of tools, test equipment, and computer-based maintenance management systems

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics

• Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

• Commitment to workplace safety and a strong attention to detail

• Domiciled in Cilegon - Serang
