Some of your duties will include:
· To provide metallurgical support across upstream and downstream processing areas, ensure effective operation of advanced process control systems, lead laboratory investigations and applied research, and deliver actionable production and accounting data analysis. The role supports continuous improvement, troubleshooting, and optimization of metallurgical processes in alignment with the companys goal to expand processing plant capacity and achieve operational excellence.
· Monitor and evaluate performance of upstream processes, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvement strategies; Analyze metallurgical performance metrics (recovery, grade, throughput, reagent consumption); Provide input for metallurgical modeling and simulation.
· Track performance and quality of concentrates; Support downstream operational troubleshooting and process audit.
· Collaborate with APC/Automation team to calibrate and validate process control models and parameters; Provide metallurgical logic and constraints for control loop design; Analyze APC impact on process stability and metallurgical KPIs.
· Design and supervise metallurgical test work (e.g., flotation kinetics, mineralogy, liberation analysis); Validate laboratory data integrity and ensure correlation with plant data; Recommend process improvements based on R&D results and lab trials.
· Validate metal balance, recoveries, and reconciliation of inputs/outputs from ore to concentrate; Prepare daily/monthly production reports, trend analysis, and forecast performance impacts; Support internal and external audits of production accounting data.
· Participate in commissioning, ramp-up, and post-expansion process stabilization; Provide technical evaluation of equipment, flowsheets, and metallurgical design criteria.
· Work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Geology, and Environmental teams; Support training for plant operators and technicians on metallurgical principles and changes.
