🧾 Job Summary

Responsible for planning, monitoring, and controlling daily transport activities—including milkrun and regular delivery operations—to ensure optimal vehicle utilization, schedule compliance, and operational efficiency through accurate coordination and real-time execution.

🎯 Key Responsibilities🔹 1. Transport Planning
  • Develop daily transportation schedules based on routes, vehicle capacity, and customer demand (both OEM and regular shipments).

  • Optimize delivery sequencing and routing for time and cost efficiency.

  • Analyze historical data and delivery trends to support short-term and mid-term planning.

  • Coordinate with warehouse and customer service teams to align loading readiness with transport dispatch.

🔹 2. Transport Controlling
  • Monitor real-time vehicle movement using GPS/telematics and transport system tools.

  • Follow up on route deviations, delays, and unexpected incidents on the road.

  • Record and analyze delivery issues, delays, or missed deliveries and recommend corrective actions.

  • Communicate with drivers and operational staff to ensure smooth execution of transport schedules.

🔹 3. Data Management & Reporting
  • Generate daily and weekly reports on transport KPIs, such as on-time delivery rate, trip completion, and vehicle utilization.

  • Ensure timely and accurate input of trip data, delivery orders (DO), load records, and vehicle status in the system.

  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve route planning and fleet deployment.

🔹 4. Cross-Functional Coordination & Compliance
  • Collaborate with maintenance, safety, and HR teams to ensure driver and fleet readiness.

  • Ensure transport operations follow company SOPs and regulatory compliance.

  • Support internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives related to logistics operations.

💼 Requirements✏️ Education & Experience
  • Diploma or Bachelors degree in Transportation Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in transportation/logistics. Fresh graduates with relevant internships will be considered.

⚙️ Skills & Competencies
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with attention to operational details.

  • Proficient in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and ERP or Transport Management Systems (TMS).

  • Good understanding of routing, trip scheduling, and basic transport cost structure.

  • Strong analytical thinking, accuracy, and ability to work under pressure.

  • Effective communicator with a collaborative attitude across departments.
