PT Arnott's Indonesia is a multinational Perusahaan with brands Good Time and Nyam Nyam. We are looking for a Packaging Technician (R&D) to join our team. This role is based in Bekasi.

Responsibilities:

Packaging Development Execution

  • Execute packaging development activities for New Product Development (NPD), Export, and Co-Man projects in accordance with SOPs, agreed standards, and project timelines.
  • Support Packaging Technologists and Managers in delivering packaging development projects through accurate and efficient execution.
  • Create packaging mock-ups, conduct sample testing, support production trials, transport tests, and monitor Pertama production runs.

Packaging Testing & Technical Support

  • Perform packaging material inspections and ensure packaging properties meet established standards using packaging laboratory equipment and tools.
  • Support packaging technical research and validation activities for innovation, sustainability, and packaging improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in alternate material evaluations to support packaging optimization and cost-saving projects.

Documentation & Artwork Administration

  • Maintain packaging documentation, including ERP code creation, barcode generation, packaging specifications, SOPs, packing instructions, and printing documentation.
  • Support Packaging Artwork Development by conducting administrative checks on final artwork before submission to print suppliers.
  • Ensure packaging technical information and specifications are properly maintained and updated.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and manufacturing teams to support day-to-day packaging development activities.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of packaging projects from development through production.

Ingredients you will need to be successful in this role:

  • Minimum Senior High School (SMA/SMK) or Diploma, preferably in Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, Technical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the FMCG industry with knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing systems, and production processes.
  • Basic understanding of packaging materials, packaging development, and packaging testing processes.
  • Familiar with packaging laboratory equipment and testing tools.
  • Creative, innovative, and passionate about packaging development and food products.
  • Strong planning, organization, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Basic design skills using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop are an advantage.
  • Able to create packaging mock-ups using paper, plastic, and carton materials.
