Procurement (Mandarin)

About the Job PT Argha Karya Prima Industry Tbk is seeking a skilled and experienced Buyer to join our Direct Material Procurement team. This role plays a key part in supporting smooth production operations by managing the sourcing process of raw materials and film, from negotiation to delivery coordination.

About you on this position

• Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, or any related field.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Mandarin.
• Prior experience as a Buyer in a manufacturing company is required.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines or targets.
• Willing to be based at the Head Office - Citeureup, West Java.

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate directly with suppliers regarding pricing, delivery schedules, and product availability.
• Manage request-for-quotation (RFQ) processes, conduct price comparisons, and follow up with suppliers.
• Report bidding results to the Head of Direct Material Procurement for further decision-making.
• Prepare and present weekly and monthly reports: Stock Report, Outstanding Order Report (Purchase vs. Selling), Raw Material & Film Claim Report, and Lead Time Report.
• Gather raw material and film requirements (both local and imported) from the PPIC department.
• Monitor the delivery of goods to ensure timely receipt by the end user in line with company needs.
