R&D Supervisor

Job Description

• Oversee and coordinate the activities of the R&D team to ensure the timely completion of projects

• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to identify new product opportunities and assess the feasibility of proposed ideas

• Analyse market trends, customer feedback, and competitor information to inform the development of innovative products

• Conducting research and trial test of Body - Engobe - Glaze formula and that related for Roof Tile in Laboratory scale until production scale. Research with usage existing or new material to improve of quality or cost reduction ( saving cost )

• Conducting supervision and controlling in examination of Raw Material ( Body - Engobe - Glaze Material ) in Roof Tile with arrange in Inspection process, verification and identification of Raw Material include analysis, also to ensure that Raw material that released according to specification. Involed for explore new body material and monitoring of body material quality in mining area

• Ensure that all R&D activities comply with relevant industry standards and regulations

• Provide mentorship and guidance to the R&D team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement

• Report on the progress and performance of R&D projects to senior management

Qualification:

• A bachelors or masters degree in chemistry or relevant field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a research and development role, preferably in the manufacturing or scientific industries

• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team of technical professionals

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments

• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools

• Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and quality standards

• Understood SAP program

• Fluent in English
