Sales-Freight Forwarding
1. Client Management & Development
1.Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty;
2.Conduct regular client visits to understand needs and deliver customized ocean freight logistics solutions;
3.Develop new clients through calls, emails, meetings, and networking to expand market share.
2. Sales Target Achievement
1.Create and execute a personal sales plan to meet company-assigned targets;
2.Monitor market trends and competitor activities to formulate effective sales strategies;
3.Provide regular sales progress reports and market feedback.
3. Contract Negotiation & Signing
1.Negotiate contracts with clients to ensure favorable terms for the company;
2.Coordinate internal resources to ensure smooth execution of contracts.
4. Customer Service & Support
1.Liaise with internal teams (e.g., marketing, operations, finance) to respond to client needs promptly;
2.Proactively handle client complaints and resolve logistics issues to maintain satisfaction;
3.Identify process inefficiencies and work with supervisors to address recurring problems.
5. Market Research & Analysis
1.Gather market intelligence and analyze industry trends to identify potential opportunities;
2.Regularly submit market analysis reports to support strategic decisions at the department and company level.
6. Team Collaboration
1.Work closely with supervisors and other departments to ensure sales targets are met;
2.Actively participate in sales training sessions and meetings to improve overall team capabilities in sales and customer service.
Job Requirements1. Education:
Bachelors degree or above;
2. Work Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in ocean freight logistics sales, with a stable portfolio of direct clients;
Familiarity with ocean freight procedures and international trade regulations.
3. Skills:
Excellent communication and negotiation skills for building long-term client partnerships;
Strong market analysis capability and customer-oriented mindset;
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); CRM system knowledge is a plus.
4. Personal Attributes:
1.Proactive, resilient, and self-driven;
2.Strong team player, adaptable to fast-paced environments and willing to travel as needed;
3.High level of responsibility and professional ethics.
