About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Management Consultant (Forwarding & Importer) to join PT Sinar Jaya Teknindo as part of CSJ Group. This is a contract role for 3 months, with the possibility of extension up to 1.5 years.
Based in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, you will play a key role in reviewing, restructuring, and improving our management systems, SOPs, and operational workflows in forwarding, importing, and international trading.
What you'll be doing
- Conducting a comprehensive review of company forwarding & import operations to identify gaps and inefficiencies.
- Designing and implementing SOPs, job descriptions, and process improvements to streamline daily operations.
- Ensuring compliance with customs regulations, shipping documentation, and industry best practices.
- Providing guidance and mentoring to internal teams to ensure adoption of new systems and procedures.
- Monitoring performance and preparing progress reports for management.
- Acting as a strategic advisor to management on operational excellence and long-term system improvement.
What we're looking for
- 15+ years of proven experience in large-scale forwarding, logistics, or import companies.
- Strong knowledge of customs clearance, shipping, import documentation, and operational management.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing SOPs and management systems.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
- Highly disciplined, detail-oriented, and able to deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Willing to work on a fixed-term contract (3 months), with potential extension up to 1.5 years.
