About the role

As the Concrete Mixing Station HSE Staff at PT WESTERFIELD ALUMINA INDONESIA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety and environmental compliance of the concrete mixing operations. This full-time position is based in Toba, West Kalimantan, and will involve hands-on management of all health, safety and environmental matters within your area of responsibility.

What youll be doing

1. Monitor and implement health, safety and environmental policies and procedures at the concrete mixing station

2. Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards

3. Provide training and guidance to workers on proper safety protocols and best practices

4. Investigate and report on any incidents or accidents, implementing corrective actions

5. Ensure regulatory compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

6. Collaborate with the wider HSE team to continuously improve health and safety standards

7. Maintain detailed records and documentation related to HSE activities

What were looking for

1. Relevant degree or certification in occupational health and safety or a related field

2. Minimum 2 years experience in a similar HSE role, preferably within the construction industry

3. Thorough understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations and best practices

4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with workers at all levels

5. Proactive problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
