Some of your duties will include:
The Marine Operations Advisor/ Superintendent is responsible for leading all Marine/ Port Operations, cargo handling and stevedoring activities at the Perusahaan's private port and jetty facilities, ensuring safe, efficient, compliant, cost-effective loading and unloading operations for concentrate, project cargo, fuel, consumables, containers, and other inbound/outbound materials. The role ensures seamless coordination with marine operations, warehouse, customs, contractors, and internal stakeholders while maintaining operational excellence.
1.Cargo & Stevedoring Operations
Lead daily cargo handling, stevedoring, loading and unloading activities: Ensure vessel turnaround targets are achieved; Monitor cargo productivity and operational performance; Coordinate vessel loading and discharge activities; Optimize manpower and equipment utilization; Ensure cargo integrity throughout operations.
2. Port Operations Coordination
Coordinate with Marine Operations, Port Captain, Shipping Agents and Vessel Masters : Develop berth and loading schedules; Manage operational readiness before vessel arrival; Coordinate cargo movement between warehouse, stockyard, processing plant and jetty.
3. Contractor Management
Supervise stevedoring contractors: Monitor contractor KPIs and SLA; Conduct contractor performance evaluations; Ensure contractor compliance with Perusahaan standards.
4. Safety, Health, Environment & Security
Lead implementation of HSE standards: Conduct toolbox meetings; Lead risk assessments (JSA/JHA); Ensure compliance with Permit to Work requirements; Investigate operational incidents; Promote Zero Harm culture.
5. Equipment & Infrastructure Coordination
Coordinate availability and reliability of: Harbour cranes; Mobile cranes; Reach stackers; Forklifts; Conveyor systems; Ship loaders; Hoppers; Grab cranes; Cargo handling accessories; Coordinate maintenance activities with Engineering and Maintenance teams.
6. Customs & Bonded Zone Compliance
Ensure cargo movement complies with Customs regulations: Maintain Bonded Zone documentation; Coordinate with Customs Officers; Support customs audits; Ensure cargo traceability.
7. Operational Planning
Prepare cargo operation plans: Develop manpower alLokasi plans; Monitor daily operational performance; Analyze bottlenecks; Recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
8. Reporting & Performance Management
Prepare and monitor: Vessel turnaround time; Berth occupancy; Loading rate; Unloading rate; Cargo throughput; Equipment utilization; Contractor productivity; Operational cost; HSE statistics; Operational KPI reports
9. Leadership
Lead supervisors and operational personnel; Develop team capability; Coach direct reports; Drive operational discipline; Foster collaboration across departments; Other duties as assigned.

Working Schedule: Regular working days 5:2 (Monday-Friday)
