Supervisor - The Coach Restaurant

Key Responsibilities

  • Staff Management: Hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating restaurant staff to ensure efficient operations and high service standards. 

  • Customer Service: Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by training staff in excellent service, addressing complaints, and monitoring food and beverage quality. 

  • Operations Management: Overseeing daily activities, from taking inventory and ordering supplies to ensuring cleanliness and compliance with food health and safety regulations. 

  • Financial Management: Monitoring inventory, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and contributing to the restaurants overall profitability. 

  • Quality Control: Ensuring that food is prepared and served to high standards, monitoring presentation, and upholding hygiene protocols. 

Required Skills

  • Leadership & People Management: The ability to motivate and manage a team, coach employees, and foster a positive work environment. 

  • Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff, customers, and suppliers. 

  • Problem-Solving: The capacity to handle and resolve customer issues and operational challenges under pressure. 

  • Organization: Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, schedules, and inventory effectively. 

Experience and Qualifications

  • Proven Work Experience: Prior experience as a restaurant supervisor or in a similar hospitality role is often required. 

  • Knowledge of Food Safety: A solid understanding of food safety and health regulations is crucial. 

  • Education: A bachelors degree in hospitality management or a related field is beneficial but not always mandatory.
