About the role

Libra Food Service, a leading provider of premium dining experiences, is seeking an exceptional Sushi Chef to join our team in our West Jakarta, Jakarta location. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for crafting exquisite sushi dishes that delight our discerning clientele. What youll be doing

• Prepare a wide variety of sushi and sashimi dishes to the highest standards of quality and presentation

• Source and select the freshest, highest-quality ingredients to ensure the authenticity and flavour of each dish

• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and refine existing recipes

• Maintain a clean, organised and efficient work station to deliver consistent and timely service

• Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations

• Provide exceptional customer service and engage with guests to enhance their dining experience

What were looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sushi Chef in a fine-dining or high-volume restaurant setting

• Formal training in sushi preparation and a deep knowledge of Japanese cuisine and culinary techniques

• Excellent knife skills and the ability to prepare sushi, sashimi and other Japanese dishes with precision and artistry

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

• Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences
