As a Vulnerability Remediation Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing, prioritizing, and remediating security vulnerabilities across client environments. This role plays a critical part in strengthening system security by working closely with engineering, patching, and security teams to ensure vulnerabilities are addressed effectively and in a timely manner.

• Execute daily patching activities for endpoints, servers, network devices, and middleware using BigFix.
• Perform post-patching troubleshooting, validation, and rollback when required.
• Coordinate with Application Owners, Infrastructure Teams, and the Vulnerability Remediation Coordinator to ensure smooth execution.
• Ensure patching meets internal SLA and remediation timelines.
• Review and analyze event logs to validate patch impact and identify abnormalities.
• Prepare patching evidence, status reporting, and documentation.
• Stay updated on emerging security vulnerabilities, patch advisories, and vendor recommendations.
• Support improvement of patching playbooks and technical procedures.
• Perform VM snapshot creation before patching (when required).
• Coordinate with customer-side backup teams to execute and verify Veeam backups.
• Validate snapshot/backup success before patching starts.
• Execute rollback using backup/snapshot when patch failure occurs.

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (fresh graduates are welcome).
• Understanding of Windows & Linux operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of patches, updates, OS configurations, services, and logs.
• Familiarity with basic networking and TCP/IP concepts.
• Ability to analyze log events and correlate patch-related issues.
• Strong willingness to learn enterprise security tools (BigFix, SIEM, etc.).
• Willing to work in shift schedules and standby when required.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
