Accounting Senior Associate

Role Overview

Pluang is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accounting Associate to join our finance team. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of our financial processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Indonesian GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting, along with a proactive mindset to optimize financial operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the monthly financial closing process, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and preparing financial reports.

• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger and financial statements.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules in a timely and precise manner.
• Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements and ensure compliance with Indonesian accounting standards.
• Analyze the financial impact of new business cycles/products and ensure appropriate accounting treatment in financial statements.
• Assess and implement accounting regulations (Indonesian GAAP and IFRS) to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards.
• Support financial audits, ensuring timely and satisfactory audit results while maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Develop and document business processes, accounting policies, and internal controls to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency.

• Continuously analyze and improve financial processes, providing recommendations for optimization and risk mitigation.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting from a reputable institution.

• Strong knowledge of Indonesian GAAP and familiarity with IFRS.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in financial closing, reporting, consolidation, and financial systems enhancement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams.
• Highly organized, proactive, and self-motivated in a dynamic work environment.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as OJK and Bappebti is a plus.
• Experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is a plus.
• Financial services industry experience is a plus.

• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
