Presales Solutions Architect - Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group

As a Presales Solutions Architect within Lenovos Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG), you will play a strategic, customer-facing role at the intersection of technology and business. You will collaborate closely with the sales organization to understand customer requirements, architect optimal solutions, and guide customers on their digital transformation journeys using Lenovos comprehensive portfolio of compute, storage, networking, and cloud-ready platforms.

Your role will be critical in translating business needs into technical architectures, delivering compelling solution demonstrations, and acting as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle. You will work across a range of technologies including software-defined infrastructure, hyperconverged solutions, hybrid cloud platforms, and next-generation data center technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with account executives and customers to understand requirements and develop tailored infrastructure solutions.

  • Design and present architectures that combine Lenovos server, storage, and networking solutions with software-defined and cloud-native capabilities.

  • Lead technical discussions, proofs-of-concept, and solution validation to build customer confidence.

  • Engage with ecosystem partners (e.g., VMware, Nutanix, Microsoft, Red Hat) to deliver integrated offerings.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to guide customer strategy and enhance Lenovos solution value.

  • Support RFP/RFI responses, BOM creation, solution sizing, and pricing activities.

Core Solution Areas:

  • Compute platforms (Rack/Tower, Blade, Edge, GPU/AI)

  • Software-defined storage (SDS) and traditional SAN/NAS

  • Hypervisors and virtualization

  • Converged and hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI)

  • Hybrid/multi-cloud and workload mobility solutions

  • Container platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.)

  • Data center orchestration, automation, and management

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Deep technical expertise across data center domains, with the ability to articulate business value.

  • Strong customer engagement skills and the ability to lead technical conversations from discovery to design.

  • Collaborative mindset with experience working in cross-functional sales, engineering, and partner teams.

  • Passionate about innovation, with a consultative approach to problem-solving and solution development.
