The RoleAs a Mid-Level Architect, you will play an integral role in our in-house design team, leading and supporting the design and execution of projects. You will be responsible for developing detailed architectural designs, creating comprehensive tender and construction packages, and coordinating with consultants, contractors, and the in-house construction team. You will also have the opportunity to work on furniture and accessory designs, ensuring a holistic approach to our projects.

This role requires strong leadership, excellent time management, and a proactive attitude. You must have a deep understanding of architectural principles, building systems, and construction methods, as well as the ability to think creatively and solve problems effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs for residential and commercial projects.
• Understand and manage PGB and SLF processing with our specialised consultant.
• Prepare detailed working drawings, tender documents, and construction packages.
• Lead the coordination of architectural designs with consultants, contractors, and in-house teams.
• Work with and draftsperson and guide them through the project.
• Speak with consultants and subcontractors for detailing and sourcing.
• Produce 3D renders and visuals to support design presentations.
• Oversee the design and detailing of custom furniture and accessories.
• Ensure all designs and drawings comply with relevant building codes and regulations.
• Problem-solve design challenges, demonstrating a high level of creativity and technical expertise.
• Manage project timelines and meet critical deadlines.
• Collaborate with the Head of Design, design team members, and construction teams to deliver high-quality projects.

Requirements

• Education:
• Bachelors degree in Architecture (Masters degree preferred).
• Licensed architect or working towards licensure is a plus.
• Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in residential and commercial architecture.
• Experience in developing tender and construction packages for mid-to-large-scale projects.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D, SketchUp, and other relevant architectural software.
• Knowledge of building systems, materials, and construction methods.
• Strong 3D rendering and visualization skills.
• Basic competency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent time management and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia (Balinese language is a bonus).
