Area Operation Manager

We are currently seeking an Area Operation Manager for our client, a well-established company in the retail industry. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, optimizing store operations, and expanding market reach across multiple regions. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a strategic mindset, capable of managing sales teams, collaborating with store owners, and enhancing the overall customer experience. If you have a deep understanding of sales strategies, merchandising, and operational efficiency, this is a great opportunity to make an impact. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Direct Selling Teams (Beauty Advisors, SPGs, Merchandisers, Team Leaders) to execute effective sales strategies.
- Develop and implement initiatives to increase sales (Sell-Out) and improve customer engagement.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to tailor sales strategies for different regions.
- Optimize the customer journey within stores, including store layouts, product displays, and promotional activities.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with agencies, distributors, and retail partners to ensure smooth sales operations.
- Oversee budget allocation for sales operations, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
- Identify and explore partnership opportunities to maximize sales and expand market presence.
- Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing training and support to improve productivity.
- Ensure achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets while maintaining operational excellence.
- Willingness to travel across assigned areas when needed.
- Bachelors degree in Business Management, General Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Operations or Sales Management role, preferably in FMCG, Personal Care, Retail, or Beauty industries.
- Strong knowledge of General Trade, Modern Trade, and Local Modern Trade markets.
- Proven experience in sales strategy development and execution.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet aggressive sales targets.
- Fluent in English (written & spoken).
- Currently based in or willing to relocate to Medan, Surabaya, Makassar, Lampung, or Bali.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel throughout Indonesia as needed.
