About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Asisten kateringcina中文餐饮助理 to join our team at PARK JEONG HWAN MANAGEMENT CATERING INDONESIA in Surabaya, East Java. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in supporting our catering operations and delivering exceptional Chinese cuisine to our valued customers.

What youll be doing

• Assist the catering team with the preparation, cooking and presentation of Chinese-style dishes
• Ensure the kitchen and food preparation areas are well-stocked, organised and maintained to high standards of cleanliness and safety
• Liaise with clients to understand their catering requirements and preferences
• Contribute to the development of new menu items and recipes
• Provide excellent customer service to clients before, during and after catering events
• Assist with the management of catering staff and monitor their performance
• Maintain detailed records of catering orders, inventory and costs

What were looking for

• At least 3 years of experience working in a catering or food service role, with a focus on Chinese cuisine
• Strong knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques, ingredients and flavour profiles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and coordinate catering teams
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
• Proficient in Mandarin Chinese, both written and spoken
• A passion for the food industry and a desire to deliver exceptional catering experiences
