🎯 Role Overview - E-Commerce Specialist

The E-Commerce Specialist plays a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the companys digital storefronts and commercial activities across online channels including Shopee, TikTok Shop, Tokopedia, and other relevant e-commerce platforms.

This role encompasses ownership of product lifecycle management, digital merchandising, performance analytics, paid advertising strategy, and live commerce integration. It demands technical proficiency, strategic thinking, and data literacy to drive scalable, profitable growth.

📄 Key Responsibilities

1. E-Commerce Store & Product Lifecycle Management

  • Set up and manage product listings from scratch (SKU creation, titles, descriptions, pricing, inventory, variations, media).

  • Regularly update product catalogs, banners, seasonal bundling, and discounting strategies.

  • Maintain and optimize e-commerce storefront aesthetics, navigation, and user experience across all channels.

  • Configure back-end systems for both Seller and Affiliate models across platforms.

2. Digital Merchandising & Campaign Execution

  • Plan and execute promotional activities: flash sales, brand days, cross-platform bundling, and category pushes.

  • Strategically tag, group, and feature high-converting products for homepage and campaign exposure.

  • Coordinate with content, design, warehouse, and customer service teams to ensure smooth campaign execution.

3. Live Commerce Product Integration

  • Collaborate with live streaming teams to prepare product showcases, pricing schemes, and real-time inventory control.

  • Design custom live bundles, limited-time offers, and conversion-focused live mechanics.

  • Monitor performance during live sessions: click-through rate, viewers, conversion rate, and order volume.

4. Paid Ads Management & Marketplace Performance Optimization

  • Launch and monitor ad campaigns on Shopee Ads, TikTok Ads, and Meta platforms.

  • Optimize GMV (Gross Merchandise Value) and ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) in line with business targets.

  • Conduct A/B testing, retargeting campaigns, and keyword optimization based on customer segmentation.

  • Interpret insights from ads dashboards and provide strategic campaign refinements.

5. Analytics, Reporting, and CRM Alignment

  • Produce weekly and monthly e-commerce performance reports: revenue, bestsellers, ad spend, ROAS, inventory velocity.

  • Track product/channel performance and recommend scale-up/scale-down decisions.

  • Synchronize data with CRM systems and community engagement insights to support lifecycle marketing.

✅ Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience in managing e-commerce operations on Shopee, TikTok Shop, Tokopedia, or similar platforms.

  • Proven ability to set up and manage e-commerce accounts as both seller and affiliate.

  • Proficient in managing product listings, pricing, content optimization, and ad campaigns.

  • Strong understanding of e-commerce metrics: ROAS, GMV, CTR, CVR, AOV, SKU velocity, and margin tracking.

  • Proficient in using tools such as: Shopee Seller Center, TikTok Shop Dashboard, Google Sheets, Canva, CapCut, and ad managers.

  • Competency in compiling structured reports in Excel, Notion, Google Data Studio, or equivalent.

  • Willingness to live on-site (mess accommodation) and work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Commerce, or a related field.

Experience in live commerce product integration or campaign planning with host/stream teams.

Familiarity with managing multi-brand inventory (fashion, skincare, viral lifestyle products).

Strong analytical mindset, results-driven, and able to work independently.

Adaptive and solution-oriented in dynamic or ambiguous situations.
